Access to the Collection |
| |
|
|
A
maximum of seven books may be requested per day, unless the researcher
has made a prior appointment and arrangement with the curator.
In the case of manuscripts and printed books of which the Hispanic
Society holds a unique copy, appointments are required.
All requests to study and/or publish manuscript or other unique
material must be approved by the Hispanic Society.
In the case of private correspondence, the researcher is required
to obtain permission from the heirs of the parties concerned unless
the Hispanic Society already has such permission.
Although the collection is non-circulating and not available for
interlibrary loan, most of the items can be reproduced in microfilm,
black and white photography, color transparency or slides. We do
not photocopy items from the collection.
Please contact the Library Department for details.
